Obtaining Your Scholar Immigration Documents

If you will be joining CSU as a J-1 Exchange Visitor (Scholar) you will need to work with your CSU department to complete the Exchange Visitor DS-2019 Initial Request forms and submit them to our office for review.

Please note: Check that the spelling of your name and your date of birth on all immigration documents are exactly the same as listed on your passport. Passports must be valid at least six months after your date of entry into the US. Carry all originals with you when you travel, and make sure to keep copies in a separate place.
