International Student and Scholar Services offers two main forms of real-time advising:
- Open Advising: drop in for quick questions (10 minutes for less)
- Appointments: schedule a time for more detailed questions
Open Advising
Drop-In Hours/Open Advising Schedule:
In-person and remote open advising occur at the same time.
- Monday through Wednesday
- Open Advising on Thursdays is remote only.
- 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- No Open Advising when CSU is closed / on holidays
Open Advising Location:
- In-person Open Advising is in Laurel Hall.
- Remote Open Advising is through Zoom.
If you think your question is a bit more complicated, schedule an individual appointment instead.
Appointments
Both remote and in-person advising appointments are available.
Students can reserve an appointment with an International Student Advisor using Navigate.
If the Navigate time slots are full, either look further in the future or email an advisor directly to schedule an appointment or to see if one is necessary. Our international student advisors are: Laura Arcila Villa | Alan Boyd | Rochelle Breen | Shannon Everett
If you need to submit documents or a benefit request, please email them to our office and wait a few days for processing.
