FEDERAL AND STATE AID
Complete the on-line financial aid application: Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and consult specialprograms@colostate.edu for Education Abroad-specific financial aid.
Federal and State Aid may be available as grants and/or loans.

COMMON SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
This application serves as a common application for ALL education abroad scholarships listed in the Program Search for Scholarships as long as students have the qualifying requirements and have applied for a program of study, field work, internship or research. External scholarships will have their own applications.

OFFICE OF INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS SCHOLARSHIPS
OIP Need-Based Education Abroad Scholarships
Awards ranging from $250/summer, $500-$750/semester, and $750-$1,250/year for CSU students accepted to go abroad on an authorized OIP Education Abroad managed programs. Eligibility requirements: Undergraduate or graduate, 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA and demonstrated financial need.
OIP Merit-Based Education Abroad Scholarships
Awards of $250/summer and $500-$750/semester or $750-$1250/year for CSU students accepted to go abroad on an authorized OIP Education Abroad managed programs. Eligibility requirements: Undergraduate or graduate, 3.5 minimum GPA.
Hiegert International Enrichment Scholarship
One award of between $2,000-2,500 per year for first-time CSU international travelers accepted to any education abroad program.
Mitchell Education Abroad Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
Awards range from $250 to $1000 for education abroad programs.
CSU AFFILIATE SCHOLARSHIPS
Awards granted by various CSU Affiliates specifically for CSU students enrolled in their programs. Application is made through the Office of International Programs, but awards are granted by individual Affiliates. You are also encouraged to apply to relevant scholarships offered directly through your host organization. Note: Affiliate scholarships may not be available every semester.
CSU DEPARTMENTAL, COLLEGE & UNIVERSITY-WIDE SCHOLARSHIPS
Awards granted by various CSU departments and colleges, as well as scholarships available to all students within CSU. Please read the scholarship information to learn more about where to apply and deadlines.
EXTERNAL SCHOLARSHIPS & GRANTS
