Meet with an Education Abroad Advisor

Education Abroad Advisors are available to meet with students to answer questions about education abroad without an appointment in Laurel Hall or virtually via Zoom during open advising hours. Open advising hours begin the week of August 22:

1:1 Advising Appointments with Education Abroad

When do I need a 1:1 advising appointment?

Once you have identified a specific Education Abroad program of interest, you will receive information regarding the group advising sessions for that program. 1:1 advising appointments are not required and can be scheduled on an as-needed basis to supplement these group advising sessions. We encourage you to attend group advising sessions for your program of interest before scheduling a 1:1 advising appointment. If you have NOT identified a specific Education Abroad program of interest, our open advising hours are a great option to further explore programs.

How do I know which advisor to schedule a meeting with?

You can identify the Education Abroad coordinator for your program of interest by:

  • Searching for your program on the Education Abroad website and identifying the Program Coordinator listed on the program page.
  • Opening an application for your program by clicking “Apply Now.” You will then receive an email with the name of your Education Abroad coordinator.
  • Visiting the Education Abroad Staff page.
