Important Considerations:
- You are not limited to the programs listed under your major, but if you need to fulfill major/minor requirements while abroad, these programs should be considered.
- AUCC 1C is fulfilled by students completing a minimum of 3 or more education abroad credits.
- Transfer credit approval from the CSU Registrar and the academic department is required to ensure credits will satisfy degree requirements.
- Discuss options with your Academic Success Coordinator/Academic Advisor to ensure you graduate in a timely manner.

Fermentation & Food Science
Short term, 2nd year or 2nd semester of 3rd year are the best for study abroad. It may be difficult to take courses to satisfy required FFS courses for the major; however, majors can receive credit for electives and other non-FFS degree requirements.

Health & Exercise Science
Human Health Professional Programs prefer students take required admission courses at domestic universities. Semester-long education abroad is recommended in years 2 and 3 for HES majors. HES recommends that students set aside elective credits for studying abroad. Guided Electives are not free electives. Be sure to get equivalencies pre-approved.
