ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

CSU Salto is a program geared towards Mexican students, non-U.S. citizens/dual citizens who have graduated from high school/secondary school.

Students will follow the same general admissions requirements as all international undergraduate students, including:

-Minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent

-Have graduated from high school/secondary school

-English Proficiency (Duolingo 100/TOEFL 4 Band/IELTS 6.0)

Academic Program Options

The Salto semester begins October 5, 2026 and includes 11 credit hours which apply to any CSU major, including:

BUS 100 Introduction to Business | 1 Credit | Dec. 14-16

All courses count toward CSU’s All University Core Curriculum (AUCC) and can transfer directly into CSU’s main campus programs or online programs.

About CSU Todos Santos Campus

CSU established the Todos Santos Center to strengthen academic, research, and community partnerships between Colorado and Mexico. The Center was developed in response to initiatives promoting educational collaboration in the Americas and was made possible through a donation of land and facilities from a Mexico-based developer. CSU Todos Santos extends the university’s land-grant mission internationally by creating opportunities for learning, research, and outreach in Baja California Sur, and by serving as a platform for collaboration among CSU students, faculty, and local communities.

Students who stay on campus will be placed in one of the residence halls on campus. All rooms are furnished with:

What are the costs of attendance at CSU Fort Collins?

Students who transition to the CSU Fort Collins campus following the CSU Salto semester will pay non-resident tuition plus associated on-campus fees (including housing costs). Current estimated expenses for international students can be found online.

The International Enrollment Center can also support students with an automatic $10,000 USD scholarship per year, and will be able to provide more personalized cost estimates and details upon admission.
