OPT and STEM OPT Extension

International students are eligible to work for up to 12 months on their student visa following graduation thanks to a program known as Post-Completion OPT.

F-1 students who completed a program of study in an approved STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field are eligible to apply for a 24-month extension of their Post-Completion OPT.

Can I work on campus as an international student?

Yes! International students are permitted to work up to 20 hours a week while studying at CSU. Many international students work in Housing and Dining Services, the campus bookstore, and right here in the International Enrollment Center!
