The Intensive English Program offers multiple start dates, certifications, and outcomes to meet your needs. Students looking to enter a degree-seeking program at CSU will need to either complete all three (3) levels of the IEP or clear English proficiency through the institutional TOEFL offered at the end of each term.
Community members or others who wish to improve their English for non-degree seeking purposes may elect to study for as many terms as they wish. A full list of certification options can be found on our program info page. See a breakdown of costs by term, semester, and year below.
