Academic English For Community Members

  • What: Academic English classes offered to the public by professional faculty members at Colorado State University.
  • When: Class schedules vary, with options on Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday, and Monday/Wednesday/Friday.
    All courses are offered between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • Where: CSU Campus — Spruce Hall (map here)
  • Costs:
    • $250 for a 3 hour/week class; 8 weeks in length
    • $500 for a 6 hour/week class; 8 weeks in length
    • This special pricing is for community members affected by the closure of The Learning Source at Front Range Community College.
    • Note: Some classes may require a textbook, which may result in an additional cost.

Interested students should complete the application below. You will then be contacted with additional information about placement testing, which will be scheduled for Aug. 19. After you take the placement test, you will meet with a team member for academic advising to discuss what classes are the best fit for you.
