Job Responsibilities
I specialize in turning frustrating technical mysteries into smooth solutions. Basically, I translate “It’s not working!” into actionable fixes and make computers behave—it’s part magic, part troubleshooting!
Hometown
Raised in Las Vegas, New Mexico—a town famous for its cinematic history as the backdrop for films like No Country for Old Men and the original Red Dawn, Easy Rider, and more.
Education
I hold two bachelor’s degrees—a unique blend that gives me my edge! I pair the analytical, systems-thinking skills from my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (Colorado Technical University) with the critical observation and deep-dive knowledge from my Bachelor of Science in Fishery Biology (Colorado State University). This means I can troubleshoot a network issue and explain the lifecycle of a trout!
International Experience
My seven-year tenure in Japan began as a high school dream realized immediately after my first college graduation. Based in the culturally rich city of Kanazawa, I immersed myself in the culture while professionally supporting a global monitor manufacturer, resolving customer issues across Asia and Europe and traveling extensively throughout Western Japan. This journey was life-changing: I met and married my wife in Japan, and we moved to the US to raise our son, in Colorado, bringing a rich, bilingual, and international perspective to our family life.
Favorite Aspect of CSU
My favorite aspect of working at Colorado State University is the profound “Rams help Rams” philosophy, which fosters an outstanding culture of mutual support and friendly teamwork. This sense of community, combined with the inspiring, green campus setting and the genuinely kind people in Fort Collins, makes working at CSU an exceptionally uplifting experience.
