Kyndall – B.S. Zoology

I think the single biggest personal impact I experienced was an increase in self confidence. Being put into a new environment, though western and similar to environments I had experienced before, in which I didn’t know a single other person, really forced me to depend on and trust in myself in a way I have never had to before. As someone who is also more naturally introverted, I was forced to come out of my box and interact more boldly with people to make friends. Especially as I am getting close to graduating, this boost in confidence will definitely help with my transition into the “real world”.
