Hi! My name is Daniela Navarro. I moved to Colorado in 2006 from California, where all my family still is. I decided to stay here because the mountains are gorgeous and people are so friendly.
I really love to travel and took CSU’s study abroad opportunities and went to Spain and Peru! It was amazing and in coming back I decided to get involved with the international community. It’s amazing to see how hard CSU and Fort Collins works to help the international community feel welcomed and supported. I love to learn about different cultures, its very humbling and amazing to see how many ways people interpret and experience life.
I’ve been involved in many organizations on campus, some of which include; Rams Conversation Partners, Global Ambassadors Student Programs, Las Comadres Latina Support Program, Reporting for the Collegian, and much more. Through the enjoyment of these organizations I was led to my position at the Office of International Programs as their Publicity and Website Coordinator.
