Job Responsibilities

Helps to ensure a welcoming atmosphere and high-quality advising services in support of CSU’s vibrant and growing international student community. Hires, trains, and supervises Global Advising Center’s front desk student staff. Leads international student advising services data collection, assessment, and strategic communication efforts. Advises international students and scholars on immigration regulations, employment options, cultural adjustment issues, and academic success strategies.

International Experience

Studied abroad in San José, Costa Rica for one semester. Taught English with the JET Program in Shiga, Japan for 2 years. Led summer teaching fellowship program in Recife, Brazil. Has traveled to 22 countries and counting.
