Hannah – B.S. Fish, Wildlife & Conservation Biology/CNVZ

This program is truly a hidden wonder offered from CSU and I hope to see it continue into the future. Tasmania is a beautiful location with lots of accessible outdoor activities for those who enjoy getting out and exploring. During my time there I learned how to surf, mountain bike, I went white-water rafting and climbing. I participated in several bushwalks, went camping, and spent two weeks on an isolated island with aboriginal locals who taught me about their culture. This experience really helped me grow as a person in several ways. I feel so much more independent and confident in myself. I also feel more successful, professionally as I was able to get involved in some research here.
