Create Your eID
If you haven’t done so already, please make sure that you have your CSU eID setup and ready to use. You will need to this access any eForms with our office as well as numerous resources throughout the CSU campus.
To assist you with the transition from your home country to CSU, all new international scholars are required to attend an orientation and check-in session upon arrival to CSU. Sessions are held every Monday from 1-3PM in the Office of International Programs in Laurel Hall. You must attend one of these sessions within 30 days of the start date listed on your DS-2019.
Please complete the Scholar Check-In before your Orientation session. If you need help accessing the eForm or have troubles completing the eForm, we can help you do so during Orientation. If you plan to complete the form during Orientation, please bring the following with you to Check-In Orientation:
- DS-2019 form
- The name and address of an emergency contact
- Current US address and phone number
- The Health Insurance Compliance Form
- If you have dependents coming with you:
- Dependent passport(s)
- Dependent DS-2019(s)
The Office of International Programs will scan these documents and submit a report of your arrival in the SEVIS system to notify the US Department of Homeland Security that you have arrived. If this is not done within 30 days after the start date listed on your DS-2019, you will be in violation of your immigration status. if you are delayed and will not be able to arrive and start your program before the start date listed on your DS-2019, please contact ISSS to request your start date be amended.
Amending Your Start Date
If you have been delayed and will not be able to start your program on the start date listed on your DS-2019, please let us know by emailing ISSS with your new expected program start date. Our office can then update the start date on your DS-2019 for you.
