The diverse experiences and student voices within our CSU Education Abroad community can inspire other students to consider learning abroad!

We welcome stories from students who have participated in an education abroad program during their time at Colorado State University.

To submit your story, fill out the form below and your submission will be reviewed by the Education Abroad team. Selected submissions will be highlighted on our social media and shared across campus to help promote the value of an education abroad (we will try to tag you on social media if you provide your username). By submitting this form and sending us your stories and/or photos, you are agreeing to allow the Office of International Programs to use them in our marketing materials.

Submitted stories should be:

  • Where did you learn abroad?  (e.g. I studied at Swansea University in the U.K.)

Then, please focus the rest of your submission on one or more of the following topics:

  • What did you learn?  (Name one thing you learned from being abroad – make it original & make it significant to you.)
  • Why does what you learned matter?  (Whether it matters to you, why it should matter for future students, why it matters to CSU or to society.  You decide.)
  • Did you encounter any barriers while planning to study abroad? How did you overcome them?
