The PRM Impact Award provides opportunities for more Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) students to participate in high-impact programs. The award provides initial application funding for CSU APIDA students with limited financial means to apply for Education Abroad, Semester at Sea, or Alternative Break opportunities.
This award is given to a full-time student in the College of Business with a 3.0 GPA or higher. The recipient must be enrolled or accepted into a CSU-approved Education Abroad program.
Undergraduate students with majors in the College of Business are eligible for COB Education Abroad Scholarships. Both need-based and Merit-based awards are available. The recipients must be enrolled or accepted into a CSU-approved Education Abroad program.
The CSU Communications Studies department created 3 awards of $1000 each to support students attending the department’s strategic education abroad programs (currently Communication in Rome, Communication Studies in Spain, and Cinema, Culture, and History in South Korea).
Applicants must be an active participant in the CSU Community of Excellence or the Academic Advancement Center, be the first in their family to go to college, be eligible for the tuition assistance grant, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and complete the Global Access Award Requirements for an education abroad experience.
Five $1000 awards for CSU student(s) enrolled in the Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts major and accepted to an Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts strategic education abroad programs (currently Liberal Arts and Community Engagement in Mexico).
For engineering students only. Apply through the CSU Scholarship Application (CSUSA). This scholarship does not always have regular funding, but this can be confirmed with the College of Engineering.
One $1000 award per academic year for full time undergraduate Human Development and Family Studies majors only.
Foreign Language, Literatures, and Cultures majors are welcome to apply to this $10,000 scholarship toward a CSU-approved study abroad program in Spain. Awards ranging from $500 to $3000 for CSU students accepted to a Political Science Strategic education abroad program (currently Global Environmental Politics in the Amazon and Comparative Public Policy and Law in the US/UK). Applicants must have demonstrated financial need and minimum 2.5 GPA (2.75 preferred).
Sociology Department Scholarship for Criminology & Criminal Justice, Prague, Czech Republic Summer Program
Scholarships are available to CSU sociology majors only. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be eligible.
One $1000 award per year for a CSU Interior Design full time student. Application is made through the Office of International Programs, but awards are granted by the College of Health and Human Sciences.
Provide assistance with funding for enhanced educational opportunities for Honors students. Funds are available to support group and individual enrichment opportunities, including study abroad.
Awards ranging from $500 to $1500 for CSU students accepted to a Biomedical Engineering Strategic education abroad program (currently Prosthetic Innovation in Ecuador). Applicants must have demonstrated financial need and minimum 2.5 GPA.
Applicants for the summer Community Education and Health in Zambia Education Abroad program may apply. English majors only. 2.5 GPA with a 3.0 Major GPA. CSU Undergraduate students (min 6 hrs.). Awards up to $1000.
