The Confucius Institute at Colorado State University is hosting a staff-led non-credit summer program that takes participants to Changsha, China. The China summer cultural tour provides Chinese cultural and educational exchange experiences for American students. This tour is hosted by CICSU’s China partner school, Hunan University. Students participate in Chinese Language courses as well as cultural lectures, performances, and workshops.
LOCATION
Changsha,the capital city of Hunan Province, is located in the south central part of China, south of the Yangtze River and Lake Dongting, and has a population of 7 million. Hunan University is located in the heart of the city along the Xiangjiang River and is in close proximity to many of the sites that will be visited during the program.
HOUSING AND MEALS
Accommodations include hotels (double occupancy). Most meals are included, but students should be prepared to pay for some meals.
