The week of November 14-18, 2016, is International Education Week (IEW), an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is an effort to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences. Join Colorado State University in celebrating IEW through on-campus events throughout the week.

Tai Chi Club meets every Monday and Wednesday. Ms. Yang, the instructor, is a trained Tai Chi instructor working at the CICSU. Tai Chi, also known as Shadow Boxing, is a form of exercise that improves focus, balance, and overall well-being.

Attend an information session regarding studying at University of Reading (UR) for one or two semesters. Reading is near Heathrow airport and thus has frequent 30-minute trains into central London, yet is more affordable than living in central London. Dr. Nicole King from UR’s Department of English Literature is visiting CSU to meet with UR students attending CSU and to talk with CSU students interested in attending UR.

Join the Confucius Institute at Colorado State University for BYOT!, a learning Meetup for anyone interested in learning or improving Mandarin Chinese language skills.
